Sheila Osborne is an Accredited Appraiser of Personal Property with the International Society of Appraisers in the Fine Art Division. Ms. Osborne graduated from the University of Toronto in 1986 and has over twenty years experience in the fine art business through her work at Contemporary Fine Art Services Inc. and Curator Asset Management. Her credentials as an appraiser are in compliance with the requalification requirements of the International Society of Appraisers and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice 2010-2011.

Sheila joined Contemporary Fine Art Services in 1988. Established in 2011, Art Advisory.com is the operating name of Contemporary Fine Art Services Inc., a firm founded in 1981 by Kathryn Minard. Art Advisory.com provides fine art appraising, consulting and collection management services. Appraisal services include reports for insurance coverage, damage and loss claims, charitable or cultural property donation, estate planning and division of assets, purchase or sales advice, determination of probate fees or capital gains tax, bankruptcy, divorce or partnership dissolution and expert witness and litigation support.
The firm advises clients on the acquisition or sale of fine art and provides representation in purchase and sales transactions as well as collection management, including inventory, cataloguing, conservation, restoration, framing and installation. Clients include private and corporate collectors, financial institutions, government, public galleries and museums, registered charities and law firms.

During this period Ms. Osborne worked for Curator Asset Management, a partnership between Kathryn Minard and Waddington’s Auctioneers & Appraisers. This firm provided specialized services in appraisal, research and collection management.
